a good strategy to increase the user base too, is allow sign in with open id, hotmail, gmail, use gravatar thumbnail from automattic.

youare could make a few default banners to stimulate people place these banners on their sites, like it happens with twitter.

in second comes, the brand is too ugly, and there's no mascot, and there's no standard banner

my first point of view to youare to increase it's user base, is to extend the possibilities to customize the interface, bg's, etc.

note to self, build a extension for firefox,flock, opera for youare.com, design all common sizes of banner to you are, before the end of next month
